I made my own King Cake!

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Used Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon roll dough, rolled out dough, made strawberry cream cheese filling, roll it up, bake, cool, make royal icing and put sprinkles.

Tastes just like the real thing :D

I don’t know enough Louisianans. The last time I had King Cake was years ago... and at my D&D game at Georgia Tech. One of my buddies’ mom had sent him one.

I had my fill of King Cake several weeks ago. There is an endless supply in our office from just after New Years until Mardi Gras.

King Cake is no joke. A friend of mine had one shipped from New Orleans to here in Cali overnight a few years back. That was some high quality cake!

I think she paid around $50. I had no beads to give as thanks.
